I grew up being very active in youth sports such as basketball and soccer. I played NCAA Division I Soccer at University of Hartford and eventually in a Semi-Professional Women's Soccer League in Colorado.
I taught Special Education for eight years at the Middle School level, coached elite competitive soccer teams as well as JV and Varsity Girls Soccer. At one point I created and ran a Youth Soccer Academy as well.
I didn't find CrossFit until I was 40 years old and a mother of a 10 year old special needs boy. CrossFit soon became a great outlet for me both mentally and physically. It has allowed me to gain physical strength in order to lift and carry my son who is immobile.
I quickly got my CrossFit Coaching certificates to coach adults and youth. I absolutely love to help and serve others!!! CrossFit has had such a positive impact on my life and I love that I can pass it on to others!

I grew up playing any sport I could get my hands on and making any and everything else into a sport. I joined my first CrossFit box the year after I graduated High School and have never looked back! Over the past 7 years, I've taught group fitness classes and yoga; coached boys and girls middle school basketball; and remained an active participant in CrossFit, running, and recreational sports leagues.
My career as a speach-language pathologist has coupled with my lifelong love for fitness to shape me into the coach, trainer, and leader I am today. Health and sucess for everyone is my primary goal. I believe that scaling movements to an athletel's current needs is critical to ensuring safety and success while fostering an environment that promotes self-confidence and self-actualization.
CrossFit Aerobic Capacity
I've been active for as long as I can remember and have made fitness an essential part of my lifestyle. I started riding horses competitively when I was 10 and have cross-country skied and hiked my entire life.
I picked up weightlifting and more traditional gym training when I attended college. I soon began personal training and leading group fitness classes and realized I had a great love for coaching.
I started CrossFit in early 2013 and haven't looked back! I love how the community inspires people to look, feel, and do their best everyday!

I have always been in a gym, gymnastics that is! I was a competitive gymnast from age of 5 through my high school years. This led me to an athletic scholarship in college at Texas Woman’s University. During college, I fell in love with coaching youth gymnastics. I have been coaching gymnastics for over 20 years.
It took a lot of convincing, but in 2014 I stepped into my first ‘BOX’ and I was hooked! Having a gymnastics background has always helped me pick up skills quickly. It routinely reminds me of the team comradery I had throughout life. My calling is to share my love for fitness and help others meet their personal and fitness goals.
